Waking up with a view directly to the sea is pretty nice π
Getting ready and packing the bag was quick, since we only had one and packed only one outfit each π
For breakfast, we had orange juice, a regular croissant for me, and a ham and cheese croissant for my darling ππ₯
On the way to the car, I fell flat on my face because I was admiring the sea one last time and twisted my ankle at the edge of the road. It's a bit scraped and now I have two lovely big bruises to add to it. My leg apparently wanted to match the car next to us. With all the mosquito bites, it's hardly noticeable π₯²
Took some 800mg IBU, cooled it with thawed ice packs, and took Arnica globules earlier. Maybe the room name wanted to tell me something π±
Then we headed to the last stop in Italy, Lake Garda. Finn drove the curvy really mountainous route and I drove from Parma, after a Burger King ππ visit (not as good as the McDonald's here) π Since we've listened to our Italy playlist at least 10 times, we switched to the Top Hits Germany and good German Schlager π
Arriving at the hotel, we could finally speak German with someone else again. Yay π₯³ The room is nice and I watched a bit of Kika on the small TV πΊπ
For dinner, we went to a nice restaurant where you have a perfect view of Lake Garda. I would say Dinner with a view ππ
Our hotel is a bit off the lake on a small hill β°οΈ However, our room faces the other side, so unfortunately we can't see it from here π€·πΌββοΈ
Today's dinner was sponsored by Michi and Manu π₯° Kisses to you. And of course to the rest of our family and the doggies π
Now just some Netflix and figuring out what we'll do tomorrow π
P.s.: Sorry for the late blog post last night, the internet was completely gone π
P.p.s: Today wasn't as long and exciting, we spent a lot of time in the car π€·πΌββοΈ
P.p.p.s: We just realized that we don't have a selfie as a cover photo, so here's one from the bed with Mona Lisa ππΌ
