In Cape Town we checked into a great hostel. We went to the V & A Waterfront where we visited the harbor with the Clock Tower and Cape Wheel, and strolled through the shopping centers to buy some souvenirs.
Another destination in the city was the famous colorful Boo Kap. We walked through the streets with the colorful houses and looked at the murals. We also passed through Long Street, Green Market, Adderly, and many other well-known places we.
In an exceptional café, we had coffee and admired the sensational cars on display there.
However, the highlight was definitely Table Mountain. We took the cable car that rotates inside on the way up, so that everyone can see everything around. When we reached the top, we had a gigantic view of Cape Town, Robben Island, and the surrounding area. We walked around the entire mountain and climbed onto the rocks to catch many unique perspectives.
We also saw two dassies and the special plants that grow and bloom up here. It was really beautiful to have seen this official natural wonder myself.
We will be moving on soon. On the one hand, it's a shame because we really liked Cape Town, but on the other hand, we are really looking forward to our tour that is about to begin. And after all, you can always come back..
