Sleeping in until late sunrise, followed by a round of Binokel with the back door open and a view of the semi-frozen lake was a perfect start to the day.
After a lunchtime breakfast and a swim in the lake, we continued through the beautiful fjord landscape towards the north. The sunset at 15:30 was almost like a sunrise to us.
Due to the mild temperatures, the snow only stayed in the higher areas and the valley had a more autumnal appearance.
Our G reliably took us over the pass to Odda and along the Sørfjord to our destination for today, Granvin, where we will spend two nights with Eline, the Norwegian woman André and Leon met in Cuba. Together with her super hospitable family, we had dinner and celebrated her mother's birthday. Afterwards, we took a trip to a friend of hers in the mountains who took us for a ride on his snowmobile and then spent a cozy evening with more friends.
