So...after we had a really turbulent landing, I finally got to set foot on Irish soil. I quickly noticed that it was my small but fine airport in Cork. After some small talk, I finally got my rental car. Unexpectedly, everything went smoothly, no extra costs and the keys to my car were handed over to me.
As I step outside, something immediately catches my eye: Sun! It's cooler than in Germany but the sun is shining and that was not expected according to the weather forecast.
The first leg was from Cork to Kinsale. Kinsale is a cute little coastal town and immediately convinced me with its unique charm. I treated myself to a delicious waffle with salted caramel ice cream and then took a walk through the town. Then I continued to Bantry, along the way I encountered pure green landscapes and breathtaking wide meadows. Exactly what I was looking for. And everything was accompanied by a lot of sunshine.
