After the trip now in Victoria

Byatangajwe: 19.08.2019

Victoria itself is a very beautiful city. The number of tourists is spread out and you can discover the interesting spots relatively well. We start at the harbor with one of the famous Fairmont Hotels, the small shuttle ferries, and the Dragon boat festival. Then the oldest Chinatown in Canada. Which is very small compared to other Chinatowns around the world. Also, there was an alley that was so small, you could easily walk up the wall.

In the evening, we joined the famous Fish & Chips "Red Fish, Blue Fish" at the harbor. We had to keep the kids busy for half an hour until it was finally my turn. It was worth it and it was really fresh and delicious. This is how you can get children to eat fish with joy. Unfortunately, it was gone too quickly, but lining up again, no thanks. Rather promise ice cream.

The next morning, we started at the bakery with fresh warm croissants and drove to Beacon Hill Park. It was as always very early, not a soul there, and the fog hadn't completely disappeared yet. Here we discovered many beautiful flower beds as well as many peacocks and wild geese. Then we went to the Fisherman's Wharf, which is really worth seeing. Lovingly and colorful houseboats on small piers with something to eat and rest. "Vacation"

Then a little stroll back to the harbor and the Teahouse and the British Columbia Government Building. For Pia, it's a castle. Mama, shall we go in? No, they're working inside, there's no princess there. Pia: But, just a quick look and then we'll leave again. :-(
