Good evening,
there was sun and beach, but it was a long way to get there..
So we, or rather I, started punctually at 7:50 with balm on my soul, no kidding, knee. Grandma, I love you for this tiger balm. Even though you're no longer on Earth, you're still with me.
So the knee is properly lubricated again and off we went. After a short city chaos with traffic lights and bad roads, I was out of town after 40 minutes. When the rain started, I took the break for breakfast. The food is slowly getting emptier and the bag is getting lighter. Then onto the highway.. Wait, that was almost fatally wrong. Realized it early and turned around and then it got scary. 41 (!) kilometers without turning. I thought the 35 from yesterday were already unbeatable. Yes, along the B6 with partly good and bad road sections. In between, I had to be careful to drive past dead people who had unfortunately died out of boredom. Sad thing. When the ordeal was over, there were 25 km of city (15 km Bremerhaven, 10 km Langen). The ride through Bremerhaven was like a vacation at Duisburg HBF, not beautiful! Well, I hadn't seen the harbor, but the rest was not exactly Oscar-worthy. Then village after village until I arrived in Cuxhaven. Since it was only 100 km, I had time for a little sun on the beach, as the rain stopped perfectly for the arrival at 2:30 pm. Unfortunately, I could only go until my shin in the sea because I didn't want to risk a shark bite. It was low tide anyway, so it worked out fine for me. A little sightseeing and in the end to the harbor. Very nice!
Tomorrow then to Hamburg. Let's see what awaits me there. There I will have the good old shrimp sandwich. You will hear from me.
Yours, Florian
