At five in the morning (!!!), I set off. Picking up my father-in-law. Departure to Toblach. The GPS system was supposed to go via Innsbruck. But it wanted to go via Munich! The error was quickly found. Because the Vorarlbertunnel was under maintenance, it said: not passable!
Now we turned around at (no, after) the Pfändertunnel and back to the route...
So over the Vorarlbergpass (beautiful!!) and then over the Brenner Pass.
We arrived in Toblach with a 40-minute delay. And we started driving. Then hunger struck and we devoured the sandwiches.
The route was all on gravel, which was very exhausting.
The reward was then the former railway line with tunnels and magnificent panoramas!
Arriving at the campsite at five, we still had to do some shopping. So we had to go back up to the village. Everything was there an hour later.
Cooking, showering, eating, enjoying.
