Day 13 - Journey home

I look at today with mixed feelings. On one hand, it's sad that this special vacation is coming to an end. But on the other hand, I'm very excited to see my beloved again in the evening. From the beginning, it was clear that she would not enjoy the adventure trip to Kinnarodden at all. I am grateful to her for supporting us (or all four of us) in advance to tackle this challenge.

By plane from Kirkenes to Oslo, then on to Amsterdam, and from there by car back home. That's how our journey will end. Afterwards, we will review and share all the photos and videos among ourselves. I will also link the online posts of my travel companions in a follow-up post. However, this may take a while. Quality comes before speed. 😉

By the way, we have already received several inquiries from other geocachers who also want to hike to this special destination soon. The stream of crazy people continues. 😎 But at least in 2024, we were the first ones to make it. Even now, with a few days' distance, it still feels good to have achieved the feat. 💪

And from today on, for the first time since the beginning of the journey, we will experience a dark night. That will be a bit unusual. 😎
