Tulum - Part 2

Byatangajwe: 11.01.2017

Day 3:

Today we went to the Coba ruins which are about 1 hour bus ride from our hostel. The great thing about this pyramid is that you can climb it and enjoy the view of the entire jungle. (The climb was more challenging than expected but a little exercise never hurt anyone ;) )

The ruins site is quite extensive but manageable as most of it is shaded. The only downside is that the ADO bus goes at 10 in the morning and comes back at 3 in the afternoon. Probably an hour of tourist time was built in for souvenirs ;D

I'm curious how long it will take until we can't see any more ruins, because there are really a lot of them on our trip.

In the evening we had delicious food and cocktails again. After all, you have to take advantage of happy hour ;)

Day 4:

According to the weather forecast, it was supposed to rain today. But we have already noticed that it often makes mistakes. We had bright sunshine and spent the whole day at the beach. Tonight we will continue to Belize. It could be exciting, as at the border, they often try to rip off tourists. They demand an exit fee even though it is included in the flight ticket. More information will follow.

My conclusion on Tulum:

A must-see, it's really great here. I felt comfortable here immediately, as the people are very open and friendly. The bars and restaurants are also lovingly decorated. The food is fantastic, there is something for everyone (even me, who is really bad at things like that :D )
