After yesterday's 610 and today's 440 kilometers, we arrived in Tom Price on the edge of Karijini National Park. On the way there, we were able to make a detour to the NP and go for a walk. Tom Price is a city that was created by the mining industry represented here and is actually not really worth seeing/nice. However, a very colorful bird life is striking, at least for us tourists it is an eye-catcher. Feeding parrots is a highlight for us 😊, just as popular with the locals as attracting pigeons 😜, I guess.
During the day it was a pleasant 28 degrees, now in the evening when the sun is gone it quickly gets cooler. Tomorrow we will go back to Karijini NP. The realization after today's excursion is that we need to bring a lot of water to drink.
