Jasper & Rain

The last few days I have been lying flat and had a fever. I couldn't do much, the weather didn't help either.

When the raindrops pelt the camper, it's beautiful. I could rest from the heat and it was almost soothing...

I drove further north in the national park. It's even colder here, especially the nights are cool at about 5 degrees. Since today I'm even on a campground without showers, but at least there are toilets.

It's so peaceful here. It's a shame that I can't upload videos here. You can either hear the rain or when 2 squirrels fight or a few birds. Done ;) the campground only opened the season yesterday, so it's still very quiet here.

Today, despite my physical exhaustion, I dared to go on a small tour again.

On the way, I saw a small dark grey snake (!), the 2 enchanting butterflies dancing around each other and a female deer. :) It's something very touching to be so close to nature... I eventually turned back because the path was getting narrower and muddier/boggier and there were no other people around...

I still can't quite get used to the time here. It's bright until 11:30 pm in the evening, really bright. That confuses me.

When I wanted to get medicine in Jasper (city) yesterday, I realized that there are either real chemical inhibitors or just sugar stuff in the form of syrup... in an organic store I at least got a pure red beet aronia juice and pure vitamin C. I'm glad I brought a small pharmacy with me... maybe it's different outside the park in the stores. I hope so.

Yesterday I saw a beautifully carved cedar wood in a Native store, as a wall decoration. An eagle with a salmon integrated. Unfortunately, it is well packed so you can only see it in my new apartment :)

Otherwise, I have a lot of time to think about many things. I have little to no daily structure and I fall and fall. I don't know where to and it's neither good nor bad. But one thing is certain: I will eventually land.

The current time brings a lot of unrest, a lot of aggression, at the same time immeasurable forces of love and new valuable connections develop.

Today is new moon. May it bring us lightness.
