Culture shock number two -> Vietnam, Hanoi

Wow, where have we landed? That was the first thought when our driver dropped us off in the dark in the middle of the old town alley. When we got out, I almost stepped on a bowl of meat being sold by a lady there. Hahaha, off to a great start. So we venture through the market, which turns out to be right in front of our room, as we only realized later. Our hotel is in the middle of it all. After the shock of Singapore, we only pay €2 for the room with a huge breakfast :) how wonderful! Now let's start exploring the city, bravely we dive into the evening traffic of Hanoi. It's a miracle we're still alive :) The best way to ride is to just go for it :) Honking happens at every corner, and did I mention, they honk all the time? :) We made it! We crossed the street without any losses. We're super :) The next day, we went right through the old town, passing by Trainstreet. A train actually runs through the houses. We witnessed it live :O We were pressed against the wall as it zoomed by. Pretty cool. :) We continued with a bit of culture, the prison museum was on the agenda. History about the prisoners from 200 years ago and the Vietnam War. Very interesting. In the evening, we actually planned to go to the night market, but unfortunately, it rained heavily. Well, no worries, you can sit under the roof and enjoy a beer. :)
