Yippee, the day started with cleaning up the chaos from the previous evening, before the four of us had breakfast together in the woods on the campsite in sunshine and complete tranquility.
As we cleared the table, we were visited by parrots and cockatoos who hadn't had breakfast yet. Ann-Estelle and Mareike fed the birds with our bread while Tim and I cleaned up the rest. When I wanted to pack up my chair, I saw that a cockatoo had done its business on it. 💩 With wet wipes and a lot of effort, my chair was clean again and disappeared into the camper.
Afterwards, we drove back to Lore, we talked about the outlet and Tim and Ann-Estelle wanted to have a look there as well. 🛍 Then we went for a short walk on the beach before we continued our journey.
After about half an hour's drive, we arrived at a 'Koala HotSpot'. According to reports, many koalas are said to live in this forest. So the four of us went in search and today we were able to observe three more koalas sleeping and eating. 🐨 By the way, koalas sleep 18-20 hours a day, the rest of the time they spend eating 😅.
After the koalas, we drove a bit further and arrived at a waterfall. It was far away from us and we couldn't get any closer because everything was overgrown, but it was still very beautiful and definitely worth the little 10-minute walk. 🚶♀️
Afterwards, we found a campsite and set up. In between, we made a stop at a beach so that the four of us could jump into the sea. It was definitely colder than the Indian Ocean in Bali, but this refreshment was very good.
On the way to the campsite, we were able to spot a koala on the side of the road who was not up in the treetop like his fellow species, but at the base of the tree, so we stood just one meter away from him. 🤩
Upon arriving at the campsite, we set up a little bit, were able to visit more koalas, and set up Tim and Ann-Estelle's awning so that we could sit in the dry if it rained. Afterwards, Tim cooked dinner for us. 🍝 Then we cleaned up, washed our dishes, and played games all evening, enjoying our wine and having a lot of fun. 🍷
Greetings from Australia, your Jojo! 🥰
