Tag 135 - Sandy Beach & Portoscuso

Hi guys :)

And once again, we had a suuuuuper day :).

Just a quick note about yesterday: We were lucky again with the restaurant.... When we arrived, it was full! We sat at the bar and enjoyed one or two aperitifs :)

Just as we were about to leave (after about an hour of waiting), we were called and shown to our table. The food was really delicious! Even though they brought me the wrong pizza :)).

We were all glad we waited and then walked back to the motorhomes with full stomachs. We sat outside for a while and chatted about everything. A perfect end to the day :).

And today: We left around 11 am for a beach. When we arrived after a little over an hour's drive, all the parking spaces were full. We found a place further ahead to leave the campers and went straight down to the water. It was cute there, but you couldn't really swim because of the reef. A short time later we decided to walk the 750 meters to the sandy beach. It was really awesome there! The sea was still a bit rough, but we could still get in the water. We ran in and let the waves carry us back to the beach. Sometimes it washed us up so much and the fine pebbles got everywhere! Like children, we wanted to do it again and again and picked out the biggest waves :).

Later on the beach, Tiziana and Roman were buried in the sand :))

Yes, everyone was really happy to be at a real beach by the sea.

In the afternoon, we continued on to "Portoscuso", our overnight spot for today. The road was blocked by a market, so the navigation system redirected us. However, it took us through the village, which had really narrow streets and made us sweat. Moreover, the little detour cost us another half an hour... But in the end, after a little over two hours of driving, we reached the spot. We're back with the big white stones, it's just so peaceful here!

Tonight we'll have dinner together, have a drink or two, and enjoy the last hours of the day.
