Esch-sur-Sure (Luxembourg)

Spontaneously, we decide to make a 2-day stop in Luxembourg after a small shopping marathon and the daily errands. Somehow, Luxembourg is not really on our radar. A small funny country that brings a lot of confusion. When shopping, you don't know which language to speak, even though so many signs are in German. Luxembourgish sounds somehow like incorrect German or Low German. We are amazed at how similar it is to our homeland. We end up in a small square by a river in the mountains, right on the Sure. Nearby is a small village with lots of gastronomy, a castle, and a huge reservoir that ensures the drinking water supply in Luxembourg. After 2 nights, we head towards the Belgian coast.
