Day 2

After nearly 14 hours, we continue by car for another 3.5 hours to the south of Sri Lanka. We eagerly look out the window until our eyes close. We wake up again as we drive from the highway into more rural areas. Constant honking and overtaking, no sign of traffic rules. Our driver took the wrong turn and has to find a new way in an adventurous way. Wow, what impressions of this colorful country!

Finally arrived, we are warmly welcomed by the Isolabella team, presented with flowers and taken to our room. What a view! Add the coconut and tears start flowing again... !

After a delicious lunch, we go straight to the facial and foot massage. We have truly arrived.

We spent our dinner under a palm roof, the rain pouring down on the ground, with the sound of the sea in the background.

It probably won't surprise anyone that we slept like babies. We can't wait for the new day in paradise.
