The desert

We all drove to the desert near Tabernas after Las Negras, where we visited the Game of Thrones film sets the next day. After that, we continued to Beneficio, a hippie village in the mountains. Because we felt like visitors in a hippie zoo, we didn't take many photos there. Nevertheless, I will not forget this place because it reminds you of what you really need. Many people just lived in tents there, even though it was cold for us in the Düwel at night. There were also all kinds of other shelters: plastic sheeting sheds, stone huts, wooden huts, teepees or yurts; you could find various variations of them. A small river runs through the village, which extends over several steep slopes, so to speak the lifeline of the village, and hidden everywhere in the forest you can find small sheds.
