Island - Day 3 - Rocks, Glaciers, and more

We camped in the quiet idyllic village called Vik. We affectionately called it Vik am Randen.

There, we saw a black sand beach, a small church, rocks in the water (Reynisdrangar), and we ticked everything off before the afternoon break (Y)

After enjoying a nice view of the glaciers, we continued driving and saw impressive icebergs behind hills on the side of the road, throwing 1-2 stones at ice chunks like children :)

After the crowded side of the glacier lagoon, we instinctively drove to the beach, where ice chunks were washed up onto the pitch-black beach. Mega! Black Diamond Beach.

On the drive further east, the game Foss was born (hit when seeing) from too many waterfalls. Foss means waterfall in German (we assume).

Arrival in Stödvarfjördur.
