Lake Louise

Lake Louise Village is a beautiful ski and hiking village at an elevation of 1600m. We arrived in the rain, but today it's sunny. So put on your boots and take the shuttle up to 1750m to Lake Louise (named after one of Queen Victoria's daughters).

Our trail takes us 3.6km uphill to Mirror Lake and then to Lake Agnes Tea House at 2135m.

All lakes are frozen.

The last km is only snow and ice. Sometimes really intense.

Going down was faster.... but we made it safe and sound - and tired...
