S: Short stay in Lima

As already explained, we have decided to skip Colombia (for now) and go directly to the Andes.

Lima has around 12 million inhabitants and was a real culture shock. Large shopping centers, full shelves, food in abundance. Lima was perfect for recharging a bit, updating the blog, and especially uploading the latest photos from Greenland as well as all the photos from Cuba.

We have just arrived in Arequipa, the second largest city in Peru at an altitude of about 2300 meters above sea level.
