Day1 Geiss Nidda - Lohr am Main
This time on 2 wheels. Corona is not for me with my nomad genes in my bloodstream. I felt like I had to get out, out, out. Also, our Rudi got injured, he's standing in the yard with a bump poor guy. Burki probably felt that it was better to let me go. Farina gave me the idea to go on a bike ride again. I actually wanted to go to the Zugspitze with her. But the route there was just too much for such a short time. So pack the bike, take the train to Buedingen and off we go. Burki is basically working from home for me. Because my navigation problem is still at least a 6 clearly insufficient. I carry the GPS tracker with me so that Burki can see from home when silly mom gets lost. Fortunately, I already had the first call today 🍀. I read about the Medieval Cycle Path in the newspaper and thought it would be something for me. My intuition told me to skip the Ronneburg, otherwise it would be too much. Good thing, because there were quite a few altitude meters from Bad Orb to Lohr. Here I am at the campsite by the Main River. I went swimming, enjoyed a good beer and food, and soon I'll be heading towards horizontal. Thank you very much Burki for accepting this even though you are not feeling well yourself.
