Finally back to hut feeling

4:45 Mrs. Vogel is awakened 😀. After tossing and turning for a while, I get out of bed. I set off at around 6:30. Through field paths to Hammersbach and then a decent climb up to the Kreuzeckhaus. Up to here, it was all through the woods. At the top, the first beautiful view. The early bird catches the worm. It's so true. Afterwards, I went over the Hufleitnerjoch to the Höllentalanger Hut. By now it was 12:00, so I could already enjoy an apple strudel. With a Paulaner Helles non-alcoholic 0.5l. You can't get that anywhere on our way.

From here you have a fantastic view of the Zugspitze. After refueling, I dipped my feet in the mountain stream. I really took my time today. Why should I be fast when there is such beautiful nature in the mountains?

The path downwards led through the Höllentalklamm. I always admire the forces of nature in such places. It feels so wild. The moist mist in the gorge was pleasant. Refreshed, I made the final descent to the campsite.

Tonight I am sitting in the wellness area of the campsite. Absolutely positively surprised and for free.
