Switzerland Aargau 2017

After my son moved from Valais to Aargau, I don't have to travel so far to visit him and I'm combining the first visit with the Basel Tattoo (I've already written a report about it).

Aargau, the birthplace of Switzerland and the Habsburgs....many bloody battles have been fought here. It is also a land of water, with many rivers here...Aare, Limmat, Rhine....

From here, you have all the major cities of Switzerland nearby, 30 minutes to Zurich, one hour to Bern, and a little over an hour to Basel.

And it's also ideal for hiking, in just 1 hour you can reach the most beautiful hiking areas, like Lake Zug for example.
