Day 12 - Alicanteeeeeeeee

Hello everyone!

Today's entry will be a bit shorter :)

We left around noon and have now landed in Alicante at a campsite. Here, there is a washing machine, which is slowly becoming necessary :) Two bags are already filled with dirty laundry and strangely enough, it doesn't seem to be getting any less :))

The campsite is nothing special, but very cozy. We have set up the table and chairs and for the first time, we have extended our awning XD.

Right after our arrival, I rushed to the washing machine and happily discovered a dryer as well. We enjoyed the afternoon in the sun with margaritas and in between, we took a little stroll to the laundry. Great, now everything is taken care of for a while. We can dispose of the graywater here, refill fresh water, and empty the toilet :) It's such a great feeling when everything is done and prepared ^^

Well... there was a little mishap with the laundry... when I tried to take it out of the dryer, it was still quite wet, so I tried to start the machine again. However, it didn't accept the token... Sooooo... I squeezed it in really hard and as a result, the coin slot is now successfully blocked. We took the semi-dried laundry and hung it everywhere in our space. However, it's getting dark and most of it is still far from being 'dry'. We'll leave it hanging for now and hope for the best :D

Later, we walked to a supermarket to buy a few things, including cheese for the burgers that were on the menu for dinner tonight. Back at the camper, we realized that the burger meat wasn't there... Strange... We must have left it somewhere ^^ Instead, we had chicken skewers with bread and salad - it was really delicious!

After dinner, we were joined by a young kitten to whom we gave our leftovers and some water. We probably have a pet for tonight now :p

We will spend the rest of the evening in the camper. The bar won't happen tonight due to our not-so-optimal location :) But someday, we'll make it there for sure!

Tomorrow, we will continue towards Seville. There are still a few kilometers to go, but we're getting closer... On Wednesday morning, my (Nadia's) mom will arrive in Seville, then we'll pick her up from the airport and enjoy a week of vacation together. That's why our goal is to be in the area by Tuesday evening.
