New Zealand - Day 1 - Auckland

Today we arrived in Auckland at around 7 a.m. We lost a day, December 21, 2016, due to the flight from L.A. to Auckland.

Upon arrival at the airport, we took the Skybus to the hostel.

Since we couldn't check in yet, we first took care of how we will travel in New Zealand. We chose the Kiwiexpress and booked directly at the local travel agency.

Afterwards, we continued with a little city tour. We walked along the harbor with a view of the Harbour Bridge and further to the City Tower. We had lunch at Aotea Square and then returned to the hostel. Since the overnight flight was not very relaxing, we went to bed early in the evening.
