The alarm clock rang at 6 o'clock. Departure was planned for 8 o'clock...okay, it turned into 9:30 o'clock...but I was still under the influence of the protein shock...or maybe it was the bottle of wine...anyway, I continued to have a conversation with Nemo & Friends in my stomach...with a view of the sea...
Meanwhile, the other food provider was playing Tetris in the car, and I collected Teewurst's loot from the sea.
When the car was packed in an engineer-appropriate manner, and my stomach had surrendered, we started the return journey. The pure driving time was supposed to be 11 hours.
But based on experience, the other two often need to go somewhere... (how will it be in old age...)
During one of those breaks, I tried to convince Teewurst to drink again (unsuccessfully...). So the water and bowl were put back in the trunk, and off we went. Barely on the highway, I noticed a draft in the car at 130 km/h...strange...which window is open...none at all. The trunk was still open! So, at an appropriate speed, Teewurst had a VERY good view of the highway, along with a windswept hairstyle and excellent ventilation...quickly stopped, secured Teewurst, and continued on!
The only traffic jam was in Paris (fortunately only about 10 minutes). There, you had time to take a photo of the Eiffel Tower from a distance. That's why there is nothing else to report here...
After a 13-hour drive, we arrived safely in Würzburg. Thanks to the parking space in front of the door (not a given in Würzburg), the car was unpacked relatively quickly. And so ended our trip in France with the 'near-death' of Teewurst and an additional roommate (remember Udo?).
I hope you enjoyed accompanying us on our vacation. The next blog post will be in the next vacation. Thank you for all your feedback! :)
Until then:
The other food provider, the blonde, Teewurst & Udo!
