In rain, hail, and headwind through Washington

17th April.

Continuing despite the still bad weather!

Now we not only have heavy rain but also hail!!! And headwind!!

That was definitely one of the most challenging and toughest days we've had so far.

But, we found another wonderful and kind family who has taken us in! The people here are so lovely!

And, Washington itself is beautiful too! Despite the weather, we're amazed! But that's just how it is here in the spring!

Although we're making slow progress, the coast is getting closer. We are now in Montesano, Washington. The weather is finally supposed to improve starting tomorrow! And in two days, we'll reach the Pacific coast.

But even more exciting: starting tomorrow, we'll be on the famous Highway 101! The Pacific Coast Highway. And we'll take it all the way down to San Francisco.
