Puerto Madryn

We spent Christmas in Puerto Madryn. The city is located on Golfo Nuevo, south of the Valdés Peninsula, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has approximately 82,000 inhabitants.

One day, I woke up early enough to watch the sunrise over the sea, and it was worth it...

We took a trip to Punta Loma to see the sea lions again, this time closer and better for viewing and photographing.

On the way back, we stopped at two beaches, Playa Paraná, a stone beach where we got stuck with the car on the round stones. But since almost everyone has an SUV, someone quickly offered to tow us out... the other beach was Playa Kaisser, a playground for kite surfers, and the children discovered some crabs...
