We had some nice weather again, though it wasn't the best weather to snow shoe walk because it was hot!
We started in the morning after breakfast, it took me a bit to get used to the feeling of the snow shoes. I kept stepping on my own feet and tripping.
But it was a lot easier to walk over the deep snow. The feet don't sink in that much and you can easily pull them out of the snow again because the snow just kind of slides of the snow shoes.
A great and also stylish design.
Johannes guided us 2 volunteers and 2 of the guests. It was a nice walk through the forest that always had areas that were completly empty. Which as johannes told us, is because the government plans exactly which trees are harvested when and where. Also for each cut tree, 3 new one's are planted.
We hiked up a little mountain until we had a view of the entire village. Which wasn't that difficult because there are like 8 people actually living here.
There is almost more volunteers than locals. Maybe we could start a rebellion...
As first act I would buy a dishwasher.
We walked down the mountain again and returned around lunch. I used the rest of the day to already start packing what I don't need anymore and get one final wash done.
Next wednesday I am leaving the husky farm too continue my journey. I am very excited for England now. One month without any board games got me really looking forward to some good old D&D.
I did get a bit of a throat ache today. I hope that it's just that and doesn't get any worse.
That would be very unfortunate.
