Sardinia Day 5 - New city, new luck

The fifth day of our trip started like the previous ones with breakfast at the hotel. This was supposed to strengthen us for the upcoming day and the upcoming journey to the west coast.

After about two hours of driving, we reached Oristano. There we visited the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, where a small musical impression from us was a must. Afterwards, we took care of our lunch in small groups and then continued to Arborea.

Arriving at the Horse County Resort hotel, one of the first things we did was get an overview and quickly find the pool and swimming area, where some passed the time. Just before five o'clock, we made our way through the pouring rain to the bus, so that we could drive to the planned workshop at 5:00 p.m. Due to a leak in the bus, anyone who hadn't had time for a shower yet could catch up. Ten minutes after departure, we reached the Teatro Arborea, where two more choirs rehearsed the pieces "For the Beauty of the Earth" and "Immortal Bach" with us. During the rehearsal, even the mayor of the city stopped by to greet us!

The day ended with a buffet at the hotel, where there was something for everyone, and with a tired choir looking forward to the coming days and experiences in the west of the island.
