The Platypus - a Duckbill.

Today, after a long time, I slept in and then we went to Bowen.

We hiked up to this lookout point.

This is Queens Beach.

.

Since we always sleep at free campsites, we always have to look for electricity somewhere.

There was a small pool between the rocks here.

Maggie cooked for all of us at the beach.

Then we drove to Airlie Beach and walked around here.

.

.

Since we don't have a table and chairs, we ate on a blanket on the floor if necessary.

We drove 1.5 hours to Eungella National Park.

And at least we saw this turtle.

We should actually see Platypus here (elongated animals with a bill), but we had no success.

We wanted to look somewhere else and drove along an off-road track with huge rocks. It was a challenge, but we somehow made it.

After a quick stop here under the bridge, we went to a donation-based campsite. There was even a trampoline here.

Then we went to the Lambert lookout point in the city of Mackay.

And climbed over rocks here.

Then we went to Cape Hillsborough, a national park.

At low tide, you can walk to the other island here. However, we arrived too late.

Lunch.

Then another four-hour drive to the camp.
