New Zealand - Day 27 - Continuing on to Christchurch

The last few kilometers to Christchurch flew by. Jan and Pascal accompanied Lukas to return the caravan. Despite the broken awning and scratches, we didn't have to pay anything (it wasn't our fault after all).
We said goodbye to Lukas, who is flying back to Germany after almost a year.
We took the bus back to the city and then met up with Jan's friend Sandra at the Botanic Gardens for lunch.
We spent the afternoon there and then went out for dinner.
