Summary: Tour 4 🇩🇰

One last time, I am reporting here:

I am well rested and will start my Pyrenees tour tomorrow. Well, maybe..

But what can be said about Denmark? My personal highlights varied.

The most beautiful roads (car-free) were on the island of Fyn (where Odense is located). This is a great place for road cyclists to train.

The best cycling paths were from Hadsund (behind Aarhus) to Aalborg and from Albaek (just before Skagen) to Skagen.

The most beautiful landscape, aside from the aforementioned routes (bicycle), was actually the entire west coast of Denmark. Not always bike-friendly, but great for hiking or mountain biking. And check the rain and especially wind report. It makes a big difference..

The most beautiful places were definitely Reffen (near Copenhagen) and then many small areas (just look at the pictures).

The best accommodations were truly 3 in a row: Tranum lys og Glas, Hotel Thyborøn, and Villa Filso in Tim. It’s nice to connect them with the aforementioned hiking path.
