Oslo

Since the selection of accommodation options in Oslo is rather limited and we want to avoid driving to places in vain again, we decide to drive to a small campsite about 50km away from Oslo. In Dellingoy there is a new campsite that is also free for tent* dwellers and caravans. We check in there online for 2 nights and also buy fresh eggs from the owner of the campsite. Because chickens and goats live right next door at a lake. The goats also like to visit the campers on the site, so Rocky follows his instinct and thinks he has to herd the goats.

We visit Oslo and once again we are a bit overwhelmed because there is so much going on here. The city center runs along the harbor and extends further into the inland. Oslo is a very big and modern beautiful city. We feel comfortable here and stroll through the streets after we have visited all the important sights or walk into the old town. Since we want to celebrate a little on Maria's birthday at this campsite, we are looking for a supermarket to buy some beer for (a lot of) money. But it turns out differently than we think. For all those who want to visit Oslo in the future and want to treat themselves to one or the other drink, do your research beforehand. ;) In some districts there is a ban on alcohol and the opening hours as well as the sale are tied to certain days and times. On the way back, we at least find light beer. We'll just make up for it then...

In the next few days we want to re-enter Sweden and visit Gothenburg.
