Tinkiwinki, Lala, Dipsi and Po...drive through Teletubbie Land to Pauanui

The Teletubbies must live between Auckland and Coromandel. At least the landscape looks like Teletubbie Land, lots of very green hills, only the bunnies seem more like cattle or sheep... and NONO doesn't vacuum, but mows the lawn.

On the way to Pauanui we stopped at the Maramarua General Store somewhere in the middle of nowhere. The owners spoke Maori, I spoke German... the order went great, instead of coffee and water I got chicken 🐔 with chips... Simon just bent it... it was probably also in English... I thought it was Maori... that should learn Oxford English! Or I?

The hotel is great, pool, sauna, tennis court, gym - I just need a pool. The room is a small house in the middle of the jungle, the terrace has an absolute forest view, that means the forest 🌳 is actually the terrace. There are now three days planned with "a little less" program, knowing my child, that won't work.

Going out to eat this evening, sunset on the beach and then on the terrace with a bottle of wine or beer - that's what our evening looks like!
