A Journey Through Oman in 2015

In May 2015, we embarked on a journey to the Sultanate of Oman because I wanted to celebrate my birthday in my "dream country."

Although I had already been to Oman on several trips, this journey has deeply engraved itself in my memory, as it was one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had. We traveled through Oman for two weeks in a Jeep, saw impressive landscapes, visited traditional as well as modern cities like Muscat, met wonderful people we had known before and made new acquaintances. Actually, May is not the perfect time to travel to Oman, as the climate in winter is dry and warm, and summers are hot, with temperatures often exceeding 40 degrees Celsius. In winter, however, the daytime temperature is around 28-30 degrees Celsius, with very little rainfall. The best time to travel is from November to mid-March.
