Wreszcie Portugalia!

Nadine: After leaving the beautiful campsite in Potes after two nights, we continued westward in Spain. A heavy rain shower then diverted us from our destination Salamanca and fate led us directly to Mogarraz, where we found ourselves in the soft pillows of a small and very fine holiday apartment, where we could sleep in real beds again and had a cozy start to Fridi's birthday. So on May 31st, this guy turned 18 years old and we spent a special time in one of the most beautiful cities in Spain (Mogarraz) with the many portraits on the house walls. In the evening we finally arrived at our host family in Portugal and were greeted with cake and stone oven pizza. We were warmly welcomed and shown around the huge property. Our camp is located right next to a stream and the terraced terrain is very spacious. There are goats 🐐, chickens 🐔, ducks 🦆, and pigs 🐖, which we take care of here. There is also a large garden and many construction sites. Since our arrival, the boys have been building a compost toilet and Greta and I have been clearing the garden of weeds and identifying the planted plant world. In between, we do some housework in the outdoor kitchen and play with the little children (4, 2, 1 years old). Today it was very hot for the first time and we are trying to get used to the heat. Otherwise, we are doing very well and enjoying the simple life - far away from the hustle and bustle of the city and almost without any network.
