11., 12., 13. Day - Edinburgh

Two days ago we continued our journey from Fort William to Edinburgh by train. After about 5 hours, we arrived and were greeted by rain. We just wandered around the city for a bit and didn't do much else that day.

The next day, it was raining again. But we still went out and first took a bus tour of the city. Then we walked around and explored the town. It has a beautiful old town.

Today, we went for some culture. We visited the National Museum of Scotland and then walked to the castle. Both are worth seeing. However, the castle is a major tourist attraction, so it was quite crowded there. The weather was on our side today, dry with occasional sunshine.

Tomorrow, it will be over again and if everything goes according to plan, we will be back in Germany at noon.

It was a nice trip. Especially the days of hiking. We enjoyed everything. The weather was changeable, but that's normal for Scotland. We will remember Scotland often.
