From Mossel bay to Hermanus

ପ୍ରକାଶିତ |: 09.12.2023

The rain had started already last night after dinner and went on through the whole night. So we had our bfast outside on the stoep (patio) but dressed in a warmer sweater and the sea that you could see so nicely yesterday afternoon vanished into the covered horizon this morning all grey. We decided to head off to Hermanus right away as weather predictions were better for that region and hit the road for another 3hrs.

Actually, the road time passed quickly and we arrived early afternoon. Raining had stopped by then completely.

Rooms at the Hermanus Boutique Guest House were ready for us and we were greeted with a nice welcome coffee and tea. Refreshed like that, we went out for some of the cliff walk always viewing full Walker’s bay which is known for amazing whale 🐋 watching during whale season from June to November, so unfortunately we’re a bit late for that. Still got to see some of the pretty cute cliffspringers called Dassies. Wind was picking up quite a bit but we had a wonderful walk with sunshine and neat pics of the coastal line!

Dinner at La Pentula and we will call it a day!
