Tsitsikamma canopy trails on flying fox and Storm Rivier suspension bridges plus 1/3 of the waterfall day hike

Started the day with a nice dip in the pool and some easy tiny 12m laps 🤓

Had breakfast and left the inn for the Tsitsikamma canopy trails tour at 10.30am. After getting equipped with full harnesses and going through the briefing procedures, we got collected at their office with a Landcruiser and taken to the starting point. Now we did 10 flying foxes slides with some of them pretty long and fast, all at about 20-30m high up in the Outeniqua yellowwoods tree tops! We had lots of fun and a very cute lead guide called Janice who was maybe 1,55m and mmmh… 35kg 🤓🫶! After the last slide we walked back to the starting point and were taken back to the main office.

After a small coffee break at the Tsitrus Café ☕️, we went together with Ini and Martin to the coast of Tsitsikamma National Park and did a small walk to the suspension bridges and then over to the Waterfall day hike for the first third of the trail, pretty challenging with some neat rock climbing, sweating quite a bit! When driving back home in the car, we all were happily keeping quiet after that filled up day 🤗🫶
