Flight to the USA 18/9/22

Today is finally the long-awaited day. The day when my adventure begins. This week, I paid all the bills, packed, backed up files, and said goodbye to relatives. After going to the hairdresser and taking the COVID test yesterday, there is nothing standing in my way now. I still can't believe that it's finally starting. The nervousness is therefore not very pronounced yet.

On the way to the airport with my family, I enjoyed the last time with them. Because after checking in the luggage, before the security check, I had to say goodbye to them. After that, I continued alone. The flight was smooth with only a few turbulences.

With some complications, I arrived at the host family with the transfer 5 hours after arriving at the airport. There, I went to bed right away and tried to sleep, which was not easy due to jet lag and the new environment.
