Moyo - Bathing under the waterfall (Star Clipper Cruise - Day 1)

As a little change in between, we had booked a cruise to the east to Komodo. Originally, the tour was also supposed to take us to Lombok and the Gili Islands - but because of the earthquakes there shortly before, the route was changed.

So we sailed with the sailing ship "Star Clipper" from Benoa to Moyo, a small island with about a thousand inhabitants who live in six villages live.

On land we first went through a village, rejected the offer there to be driven by scooter on the barely existing roads and hiked to a waterfall a few kilometers away.

Once we arrived there, we could take a bath in the lake in front of it and cool off a bit from the heat of the day.
