Second day in Saigon, 26.02.2020 (Day 25)

Today, we have booked another tour through Get your Guide. This time, we are going to the Mekong Delta by bus.

Our first stop is a temple with the largest sitting and standing Buddhas in Vietnam.

And yes... the two Buddhas are really huge!

After a good half hour, we continue by bus to the harbor at the Mekong Delta.

First, we get on a big motorboat that takes us to Unicorn Island.

Once we arrive there, we visit a bee farm and get to try some delicious honey tea.

For the brave ones, there is also the opportunity to hold a huge python on their shoulders. But we prefer to pass on that 😂🙈

After that, we take a narrow and wobbly boat ride through the Mekong Delta.

The most challenging part is getting on and off the boat, but we all manage it without falling into the water. 👍🏼

We pass by many other boats and coconut palm trees growing in the water, and after a good half hour, we arrive back.

Now, we get back on the big boat and head to Coconut Mainland.

This time, it's not an island but the mainland.

There, we get to watch the production of coconut candy and of course, try some 😉

Next, our lunch is waiting for us. It's all seafood, which is totally not my thing 😂😂😂 So, I will just fill myself up with rice and watermelon.

After that, we take a short bike tour on the mainland before getting back on the big motorboat to the bus.

In the evening, we again spend our time in the Pubstreet, just like yesterday.
