With a heavy heart, we said goodbye to Buzza and Sibenik.
On our way to Hungary, we had to make a stop at the famous Plitvice Lakes, even if the kids are probably tired of waterfalls...
At the beginning of the national park, we were overwhelmed by a fantastic view of the largest waterfall.
We walked on wooden planks along turquoise lakes, waterways, and numerous waterfalls, and we think we also discovered the Silver Lake and the cave from Winnetou - Karl May's unforgettable Indian movies.
We had a picnic with our lunch sandwiches and part of the way we traveled on a solar boat on these fantastically clear waters.
After our tour (we are aware that we have only seen a fraction of this wonderful region), we were greeted at the exit by Croatian folklore. A group of musicians were surrounded by traditionally dressed women and men who sang and danced to traditional music.
Really beautiful!
