This time it took some time before we could leave the ship. Our group of 40 people left the port area and got into four minibuses that were waiting.

They drove us to "Zoobic", a special kind of animal park. The first adventure there was called "Tiger Safari". We drove into a large open-air area in jeepneys with bars all around. There a beautiful tiger came expectantly to be fed through the bars in front of us. He then jumped onto the roof of our car and drove towards the exit. Before we could drive out, the tiger had to get onto another car roof, which he did after a long period of persuasion.

The next stop was “Tiger & Lion Close Encounter”, where I was allowed to feed a tigress through the enclosure.

Afterwards I was able to lovingly spend time with two horses, which later earned me a reprimand from our zoo guide.

In “Croco Loco” we were able to fish for crocodiles using chicken drumsticks.

Afterwards we drove to our second destination: "Las Casas Filipinas de Asucar", a beautiful resort where we had lunch and took boats through the canals modeled on Venice.

We then returned to our ship just in time.

In the evening, singer Monique Lualhati entertained us with her band "Goddess".
