From South Africa to Swakopmund

After a few days in Cape Town, we met up with the travel group with whom we will be traveling to Victoria Falls for the next 22 days.

The first stage took us past a South African winery called Highlanders. We then drove to Namibia to the Orange River, the Fish River Canyon, and Sesriem / Sossusfly, until we reached Swakopmund after 6 days. Along the way, we are comfortable in a Mercedes truck that can accommodate the 16 participants, guide, cook, and driver. For overnight stays, we visit a camping site where there is running drinking water, toilets, showers, and usually a small bar.

Now we had a 3-day break from truck driving and camping in Swakopmund, tomorrow we will continue towards Spitzkoppe.
