Mui Ne / Vietnam

Lofalitsidwa: 29.11.2017

15/09/17 - 19/09/17

Fortunately, there was a bit more on the agenda in Mui Ne.

On the first day, our alarm clock rang at 3:45 am - which is in the middle of the night for us ๐Ÿ˜€ Unfortunately, at this time our showers didn't have hot water yet, but at least it helped us wake up somehow. At 4:15, our jeep was already waiting for us at the door. We went to the desert for the sunrise!

Arriving at the foot of the huge, yellow sand dunes, we hopped on the quads and were driven to the top of the dunes, where we could enjoy the sunrise! It was sooo beautiful!

When the sun had risen, we went back down with the quads and continued with the jeep to the red sand dunes. Depending on the light, the sand has an orange to dark red color. And it was really really hot there! Luckily, there weren't many people there besides us, so it felt like there was nothing here except us and the endless dunes ๐Ÿ˜€

The last stop was my absolute favorite - the Fairy Streams. A dark red, ankle-high river winding through red and white rocks, which somehow looks like a small natural wonder. We walked with the current through the river for about an hour and had to occasionally flee from floating crabs ๐Ÿ˜„

When we got back home, we wanted to take a little nap since we were really exhausted. Unfortunately, it didn't last long because we woke up sweating after 10 minutes and found out that the air conditioning stopped working... Power outage in Mui Ne. Well, the room was hotter than outside, so we escaped to the pool. With 35 degrees in the shade and 40 degrees in the room and 593929 degrees in the sun, there were unfortunately no other options ๐Ÿ˜€

On the next day, we visited the fishing village and drove 20 minutes to the next big city, where we had the most beautiful evening in a long time: after 4 weeks of rice and chicken, we had original German cheese spaetzle and Cordon Bleu !!!!!!!! And for dessert, cream puffs with strawberries. We were in seventh heaven. You will find it hard to understand... ๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜„

We then took a sleep bus back to Ho Chi Minh, because the next day we flew to Da Nang. The seats on the bus were truly reclining, which was super comfortable for me and perfect for sleeping. Unfortunately, the seats were adjusted to Asian sizes, so Markus had no chance to stretch his legs ๐Ÿ˜‚
