To see more of the beautiful landscape, we drive from Achmeta to Mtskheta on a very adventurous road - our car suffers a little, but it's worth it anyway!
Mtskheta is one of the oldest cities in Georgia, formerly the capital and now a religious center of the country.
Mtskheta is located just a few kilometers north of Tbilisi at the confluence of the Kura and Aragvi rivers in the Greater Caucasus.
The small town is picturesque and the nature along the river is fantastic!
From the Jvari Monastery, which is a Georgian Orthodox monastery from the 6th century and was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1996, you have a fantastic view of the confluence.
Of course, we didn't just experience culture, but also relaxing hours in a beautiful bar by the water...
and of course animals at every corner!
Finally, we say didi madloba for the great time Michi - it was super cool that you visited us, maybe see you again soon!
