Hey guys! :)
Today we left the parking spot in bright sunshine and headed to S'Agaro. We had a free parking spot in prospect where we wanted to stay overnight. But when we arrived there, there was not a single spot available, so we continued to an alternative place.
We drove up winding, steep streets and when we arrived at our destination, it was nice... but not THE place... Furthermore, the last section of the road was full of cracks and there were more holes than intact spots - so we kept going.
Since there was nothing special displayed on the app anymore, we decided to just drive until we find something suitable. At first, I thought it was hopeless, but we actually found the perfect spot! Beautiful, right on the beach, and completely secluded.
But, it was just too perfect... At 7:30 pm, there was a knock on our door. There was a parking attendant who politely explained to us that we could not stay overnight. We had to leave by 9 pm, but we could come back at 8 am the next morning - overnight parking is simply not allowed in the park. The first thought was: we'll find a parking lot nearby and come back tomorrow morning to go diving.
Now we ended up in the nearby village of 'Tossa de Mar' and got a great parking spot with a view of the 'Castillo de Tossa de Mar'. This parking lot is labeled 'authorized vehicles only', but we found out that it belongs to a diving school. Tomorrow, we'll drop by and say 'hello' - divers are usually very easy-going, so there shouldn't be any problems.
The beach is just 20 meters away from our camper, and we might jump into the water here tomorrow. Earlier, we sat on a rock in the sand and admired the beautiful surroundings. Then we walked past a fitness park with various exercise equipment (outdoors, right on the beach) and of course, we couldn't resist :). We swung from bar to bar, I used my old gymnastics skills on a kind of uneven bars, did a few sit-ups, and goofed around on the parallel bars :)
Now we're sitting in the camper, enjoying the evening.
As far as our plans for tomorrow, nothing is clear yet. We'll definitely go diving, maybe also visit the castle, and the rest will be spontaneous.
Either we'll stay here for another night, or we'll make our way through Barcelona. Max from the campsite has advised us to drive through quickly and not to stop under any circumstances - we'll definitely heed this advice.
We're looking forward to tomorrow and can't wait to tell you about our experiences again :)
Take care and see you soon!
