Tag 316 - Railay West @ Railay Bay Resort

Hello everyone :)

I completely forgot that we have a change of accommodation today - luckily the hostess wrote me a message late last night ☺️

We had to check out at 11:30 am, so we could sleep in very relaxed. We stayed in bed until about 9:30 am and started getting ready, including packing everything.

At 11:30 am we handed over the accommodation as agreed, returned the scooters and took a taxi to Ao Nang at the port.

Once again, everything went smoothly, we were able to buy tickets for the crossing to Railay and ten minutes later we jumped into one of the long-tail boats.

The crossing took another short ten minutes and we were already at Railay West Beach. This time our hotel is great and we only had to cross the beach, and we were there.

The hotel is beautiful again! We have our own bungalow with an outdoor whirlpool and a wall all around so no one can see in. Really pretty ☺️

First, we sat on the terrace, clinked glasses with a beer and chatted a bit.

Then we walked over to Railay East Beach, where we booked a climbing tour for tomorrow afternoon and ate something along the way. Then I showed Kevin the first climbing wall and the beautiful beach with the second climbing wall.

We also got two crepes (one with Nutella-banana for me and one with chocolate for Kevin), and two banana smoothies which we enjoyed at the beach.

Slowly but surely, thicker clouds were gathering and around 5:30 pm, it was time to go. You won't believe it, but I already felt hungry again and couldn't resist the cheeseburger along the way ☺️

After I finished eating, we bought some drinks and snacks for tonight and made our way back to the bungalow.

We will spend the rest of the evening in the whirlpool and call it a day for today 😉
